CELTIC, Southern Gaul. Volcae-Arecomici. Late 2nd to early 1st century BC. Drachm (Silver, 15 mm, 2.46 g), 'à la croix' type. Celticized male head with elaborate hair and African features to left. Rev. Large cross with three pellets and one annulet in quarters; each quarter bound by crescent. Flesche 150. LT 2986. SLM 79. Beautifully toned and unusually complete. Good very fine.
